With the Ray microphone, Lewitt is once again innovating in the world of sound recording: imagine voice recording as simple as taking a photo with your phone. RAY is Lewitt's first microphone equipped with AURA technology, which automatically adjusts sound and levels depending on your distance from the mic, like autofocus designed for voice, to deliver more consistent recordings.

LEWITT's revolutionary AURA technology, based on sensors, offers a new dimension to the audio experience. Overcoming the limitations of conventional microphones, RAY dynamically adapts to your voice, adjusting its level and sound depending on your distance. The proximity effect is thus controlled, ensuring consistent sound quality, whether you are close to or far from the microphone.

The integration of the MUTE by Distance function is a real revolution. It automatically mutes when you move away from the microphone, providing full control over your audio, ideal for live performances, streams and other content.

Additionally, RAY is the first professional XLR condenser microphone to feature a dedicated MUTE button, providing increased ease of use.

The signature LEWITT "Record-Ready" sound (just press the Record button) is also present, ensuring impeccable recordings from the start, while the 1-inch condenser capsule ensures exceptional sound quality for vocal recordings .

When AURA is turned off, RAY continues to deliver exceptional results, comparable to LEWITT's best-selling studio microphone, the LCT 440 PURE. Its compact, video-capture-friendly design makes it a versatile tool for content creators, while its low noise sensitivity ensures crisp audio capture in any situation.

In summary, the LEWITT RAY microphone is much more than just a recording tool. It redefines how we interact with our audio, delivering an immersive audio-visual experience and exceptional sound quality, whether for podcasts, content creation, streaming or music production.

Ray overcomes the main limitations of conventional microphones: to ensure consistent sound quality, you must maintain an appropriate distance and avoid moving. In general, when you get closer to a microphone, your sound becomes louder and more bass-heavy, this is what we call the proximity effect. As you move further away, the levels drop and the sound loses its presence.

Since the singer is rarely perfectly static in front of his microphone, AURA technology has been designed to act like autofocus so that the sound of your voice remains the same, even when you move in front of your microphone in the heat of the moment.
